CSF Group recently announced the launch of the CSF Computer Exchange 5 (CX5), Malaysia's first commercial green data center, which is also the largest in Southeast Asia.

The CX5 is located in Cyberjaya and is a carrier-neutral data center that is made up of three blocks of four-storey buildings and a Class A office block, with 201,000 sq ft of net data center floor space and a gross floor area of approximately 580,000 sq ft.

Adrian Yong, CSF Group President and CEO said, “ We started our first data center, CX1, 10 years ago in 2002. It has been a decade of achievements and innovation and with the launch of CX5 today, we now operate the largest commercial GBI Certified Rating data center in Southeast Asia. CX5 is part of our growth strategy to provide world-class data center facilities to our customers.”

The CSF Group is also prepared to expand further, thanks to its revenue growth during its first half year results, which was 96.8 percent.

Yong added that, “With CX5, we are raising the bar as one of the largest providers of reliable, secure data center space together with expertise in infrastructure services for our customers in Malaysia and the Asian region. We are focused on expanding our footprint into the region, with more high-end commercial data centers in the pipeline in China, India, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.”
