Malaysian Group Takes AIM

Data centre services provider CSF Group is seeking to raise £28 million for an AIM float at 55p.
Steered by entrepreneur and significant shareholder Adrian Yong, the acquisitive company plans to use most of the money, raised through broker Cenkos Securities, to develop its next data centre at Cyberjaya, a planned township with a science park 50 kms south of the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur. CSF, a sector leader in South-East Asia whose clients include the KL Stock Exchange, also intends to deploy some of the placing proceeds to expand into Thailand.
Cenkos expects CSF to increase pre-tax profits from £100,000 to £8.2 million in the year to the end of this month, on turnover up nearly 80 per cent to £17.8 million. The broker has pencilled in £10 million pre-tax for 2010-11 on turnover of £30.4 million. CSF might repay a punt over the medium term.
