CSF Group. Malaysia’s largest provider of IT data centre facilities, joined AIM during the month via a placing at 55p, raising £28m for the Group and valuing it at £88m. Latest price is 63p.
Since its foundation in 1991, CSF has been more involved in the build and fit out of more than 200 data centres and currently holds around a 35% market share in Malaysia. It has developed facilities for various government organisations, financial institutions (including Malaysian Stock Exchange) and telecoms companies. CSF’s largest customer is TM Net, the government run telecoms provider.
The Company operates South East Asia’s largest commercial data centre, spanning 157,000 sq.ft. A new 201,000 sq.ft facility is planned for opening in September 2011 and the majority of the placing money is earmarked for this. The remainder will be used to support CSF’s expansion into Thailand and Vietnam.
Ft.com reports that CSF is forecast to achieve pre-tax profits of £8.2m revenue of £17.8m in the year of March 31.
